Recovery and reinstallation of Ocean Installer mooring lines
Scope of works:
The Aquatic and JFO Alliance completed its first global collaboration project for Ocean Installer. The
project scope included the recovery and reinstallation of mooring lines on a production in ultra-deepwater.
Scope of supply:
Aquatic
- 80Te powered reel winch with a track system for multi-reel lay
- 20Te tensioner for handling the mooring lines
- Four technicians
James Fisher Offshore
- 100Te subsea winch for critical lifting operations
- 30Te and two 20Te deck winches for deck handling operations
- Two technicians
The partnership provided a full back deck solution and equipment spread which delivered significant cost
savings and minimised interfaces for the client.
