Supporting our local community

James Fisher Offshore (JFO), a part of James Fisher Decommissioning have recently gifted the Catalyst Vineyard Church Inverurie and their Storehouse foodbank a trailer, designed and fitted as a mobile foodbank.

Back in 2020, JFO supported the Church over Christmas with the donation and delivery of Christmas hampers, movie night treats and Christmas jumpers to local families in the area.  Having kept in regular contact with the site pastor, it was discussed that there was an opportunity to support more families in the area if they could somehow become a mobile unit.

The trailer is on location in 4 local towns each weekend and supports on average 30 families.  JFO also supply a weekly fresh fruit and vegetable donation to the foodbank, ensuring there is a variety of fresh produce as well as their wide range of dry goods.  This is also alongside regular donations from a local baker and dairy farm, creating a 'storefront' of options.

You can find out more on the great work they are doing through their Facebook page.

Any donations to the foodbank, big or small, are always welcome and you can also reach out to them through this page.
