Organised by the JFO Health and Wellbeing committee, this exciting challenge aims to promote health and fitness within the workplace while also supporting positive mental health to all. After meeting with Mental Health Aberdeen, a local charity that provides counselling and information services to adults and young people, and learning of the work they do, it was clear that the committee would choose to support MHA and their campaign #timetotalk.

‘Mental ill-health can threaten the basic things many of us take for granted. Whether that’s our ability to manage our own lives, enjoy relationships with family and friends, or even to earn a living, mental illness can be an extremely destructive force in a person’s life, and stigmas that accompany the illness can make recovery even harder. Mental Health Aberdeen offer help and support to those suffering from mental ill-health and accompany individuals as they work towards taking back control of their lives.’ MHA Aberdeen

Did you know for £10 MHA can provide 15 minutes of counselling and for £40 they can offer 60 minutes of counselling? Please help JFO raise as much money as they can for Mental Health Aberdeen by visiting the JFO justgiving page and donating https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Fisher-Offshore
