Scope of Work

James Fisher Decommissioning (JF Decom) was contracted to remove three slipover jackets located
within the North Safaniya oil field in the Arabian Gulf to allow for the installation of new infrastructure over
the existing subsea wells. 

Scope of Supply

JF Decom scope of supply included the provision of engineering, project management, equipment and
offshore personnel for the internal and external cutting of the existing jackets. Ultra high pressure internal abrasive water jet cutting spread complete with 3S cut verification system for internal cutting of the piles. 12” Air lift tool for the removal of soil plug within the jacket legs. The air lift tool is the most efficient method for excavating inside various sized piles.

Results and Benefits

Project completed safely, on time and with zero downtime. The highly experienced JF Decom multi-disciplined offshore team operated all equipment applications throughout the workscope.
