Controlled Flow Excavation for Renewables 

 

Block Island Offshore WInd Farm, USA

Operating in water depths of between 1m and 15m, JFO have been successful in the trenching and
de-burial of cables buried to 6’ below seabed on the Block Island Wind Farm, Block Island, Rhode Island.

 

Virginia Offshore Wind Farm, USA

JFO were contracted for emergency support in the de-burial and backfill of cable on the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Farm. Following unfortunate damage caused by anchor drag on an exposed area, JFO buried the repaired
cable to 1.5m below seabed and then backfilled the area.

 

Baltic Sea, Europe

Operating in the baltic sea, JFO provided CFE services to assist with the uncovering of cable buried 1m below the seabed.

 

Formosa 2 Offshore Wind Farm, Taiwan

Trenching and burial of 4 sections of export cable up to 1.5m top of cable, in water depths of between 2m and 50m on the Formasa 2 OWF, Taiwan.

 

Hornsea 2 Offshore WInd Farm, UK

JFO have completed numerous scopes of work on the Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm. JFO provided CFE services to assist with the remedial trenching and backfilling of array cables, as a long term call off contract as and when required by the customer.

 

Horns Rev 3 Offshore WInd Farm, Denmark

JFO supported our customer with CFE services to create a clearance zone around cable to allow for inspection and recovery.
