Capabilities:

- Sales and service of Ingersoll Rand equipment, as well as supply of Ingersoll Rand spare parts and consumables.

Fisher Offshore's headquarters are located at North Meadows, Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. The 11 acre site is home to our purpose-built facilities and is an easy drive from the city of Aberdeen.

Job Description:
Fisher Offshore is part of James Fisher and Sons plc, a leading service provider in all sectors of the marine industry and a specialist supplier of engineering services to the nuclear industry in the UK and abroad.
Our offices are based in Oldmeldrum, just outside Aberdeen and we are looking for a number of specialist Mechanical Hydraulic Technicians to join our busy workshop.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, test and repair of our extensive range of offshore deck equipment to ensure that all products are operating safely, efficiently and with manufacturer’s specifications.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Primary focus will be in the day to day scheduled maintenance and repairs, of both company and client owned equipment and machinery.
- Responsibility for inspections and evaluations of maintenance required
- Ensure equipment is returned in good order and fit for purpose
- Occasional offsite work will be required at clients premises, vessels or offshore facilities
- Completion of all documentation and audit trails as required in line with company procedures and QHSE compliance/accreditation.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Applicants should hold an appropriate technical or engineering qualification or/plus have experience in a similar position
- Understanding of hydraulic pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, including manufacturing drawings, general arrangement drawings, and in particular hydraulic flow diagrams.

Job Description:

Our offices are based in Oldmeldrum, just outside Aberdeen and we are looking for a Health and Safety Co-Ordinator/ Advisor to join our busy and expanding team. The role will report in to the HSQE Advisor and will require the following:-
Objectives:
- Assist in the continued certification to 14001 and 18001 of all facilities.
- Assist in strategy management for company Continuous Improvement Programme.
- Record data required to prove product and business performance.
- Assist in providing safe working environments for all employees.
Job Responsibilities / Tasks:
Health & Safety:
- Maintain an OHSAS 18001 certified health and safety management system.
- Investigate Non-Conformances which includes incidents/accidents/Near misses and ensure corrective actions are followed up to confirm they are closed out.
- Compilation of non-conformance reports and data for trend analysis.
- Provide operational support to Managers as and when required.
- Develop safety culture with support of workshop safety personnel and Management Teams.
- Regular safety themes and tool box talks
- Test fire alarms & emergency lighting.
- Conduct fire drills.
- Summarise and evaluate compliance to health and safety legislation.
- Maintain register and information on hazardous substances (COSHH).
- Conduct site and operational risk assessments.
- From time to time may be required to perform other duties as determined by their abilities.
Environmental:
- Maintain an ISO 14001 certified environnemental management system.
Critical Requirements:
- Understanding of management systems to the guiding standards (BS EN ISO 9001:2008, 14001 and 18001).
Personal Attributes:
- Personal communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of an organisation.
- Attention to detail
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Show an eagerness and desire to implement continual improvement as a core business policy.
- Excellent analytical skills including knowledge of MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Ability to work on your own and to specified timescales and project plans.
- Some travel and overnight stays may be required at times.

Technical roles may involve working in Fisher Offshore’s machine shop, on fabrication projects or within document control. Fisher Offshore offers a number of technical positions for unskilled/semi-skilled workers, as well as for qualified engineers.

Fisher Offshore employs some sixty people, most of whom are based at the company’s headquarters in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. Fisher Offshore has invested heavily in these premises, which boast new, purpose-built offices and dedicated workshops with the latest equipment.
Facilities on-site include an attractive open-plan staff kitchen and eating area, where team members mingle during lunch and tea breaks.
