Hydraulic winches
Designed for demanding lifting and pulling applications, James Fisher Offshore (JFO) hydraulic winches are suitable for offshore and onshore operations.
JFO supplies single drum hydraulic winches, ranging from 5T to 70T with the option to provide larger 100T+ assets for hire. JFO winches have a 5:1 safety factor for lifting and a 3:1 safety factor for pulling applications and can be provided with constant tension/rendering functionality.
For ease of transportation and to overcome installation lifting limitations, JFO is also able to offer modular winches.
All our hydraulic winches are provided with dedicated rigging for offshore lifts and are fully function tested.
Utilising our dedicated onsite testing and spooling facility we are able to perform comprehensive equipment testing, replicating offshore scenarios to minimise risk and instil client confidence. Customers or third party witnesses are welcome to attend our yard trials.

Spooling facilities 
We have the facilities to spool wire onto winches prior to dispatch, negating the need for additional supplier involvement and saving time and associated transportation costs.
Client assets can be bolted or welded down to our dedicated spooling bed, capable of providing back tension of up to 15 tonnes, for maximum stability during testing.
We welcome client-owned winches for spooling and have the ability to collect equipment or perform spooling on quaysides using our mobile spoolers.
