Fisher Offshore win 2nd place in Raft Race

A group of brave individuals from Fisher Offshore, Oldmeldrum raised over £2000 for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland at the weekend. Unfortunately, the Scottish Summer (just turned!) made the task even more challenging, as, if they weren’t going to get wet from the river water during the event, they sure were going to get soaked from the heavens above! “It poured from the moment we set foot on our raft” said Andrea Logan, HR Manager at the firm. “It was a great, fun day out and more so due to the fact it was for a good cause, despite the fact it took me a good few hours to thaw out afterwards!”Fisher Offshore came 2nd  in the challenging race against 13 competitor rafts, only being 5 seconds away from winning 1st place!The raft race took place on the River Tay, Perthshire. The challenge combined a 3 mile flat water race followed by 3 miles of shooting rapids. Fisher Offshore are based at their recently extended office facility, set in 11 acres at North Meadows, Oldmeldrum, where the company are market leaders, specialising in Subsea Tooling & Lifting Equipment.
