Due to continued expansion, Fisher Offshore is seeking to fill the following positions:

Hydraulic Technician

Working in our busy workshop and offshore, you will be responsible for the maintenance, test and repair of our large range of compressors, hydraulic and electrical offshore deck equipment. An appropriate technical or engineering qualification and at least two years experience in a similar position is required. Relevant offshore survival certificates and electrical experience would be beneficial.

 

Mechanical Engineer

Working in our busy workshop, you will be responsible for the maintenance, test and repair of our large range of lifting equipment. Two years in a similar position or a good knowledge of mechanical equipment is required, as well as an appreciation for Quality and Health and Safety procedures.

 

Draughtsperson

Experienced draughtsperson required to work within a small team responsible for assisting with the design of lifting equipment. Successful candidates should possess strong AutoCAD skills, and knowledge of SolidWorks would be a bonus. Must be capable of working in a multi disciplined project environment and working to tight timescales with limited supervision.

 

Workshop Manager

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Workshop Manager will be responsible for the day to day planning and administration of workshop activities to ensure maximum productivity and optimum asset usage. This position has direct customer contact which including other activities, quotations and issue resolution where applicable.

Candidates should have previous experience in the lifting industry and preferably posses a mechanical engineering qualification.

Management or supervisory experience in a similar environment, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and an ability to plan, organise and schedule are essential.


Fabrication Workshop Manager

Fisher Offshore is looking for an experienced Fabrication Workshop Manager to take full responsibility for the 650m² facility.

Applicants should have previous experience in the day to day supervision of a fabrication team and to be capable of scheduling and costing jobs for both internal and external customers. The ability to read drawings is essential as there will be regular interaction with the design team.

The ideal candidate will be confident dealing directly with clients and capable of problem solving.


Machinist

Working in our impressive Machine Shop the ideal candidate would ideally have experience in CNC Turning and Milling.  A flexible attitude would be essential due to the varied workload. Previous Machining experience is essential however an engineering qualification is not, as training can be provided.
All positions require an appreciation for quality & health and safety procedures.
